For PDF Pocket Tools

Last updated: June 18, 2026 Developer: Utilix Labs

PDF Pocket Tools is a document utility app. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, business, professional, or compliance advice. You are responsible for reviewing all documents before using, sharing, submitting, or relying on them.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use explain the rules and limitations that apply when you use PDF Pocket Tools (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Use of the App

PDF Pocket Tools allows users to open, edit, sign, export, copy, and manage PDF documents. The App may also allow users to work with password-protected PDFs after entering the correct password.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only with documents that you own or have permission to view, edit, sign, unlock, copy, export, or modify.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, contracts, document restrictions, workplace policies, school policies, government requirements, and third-party rules that may apply to your documents or your use of the App.

3. No Legal, Financial, or Professional Advice

PDF Pocket Tools is a document utility app. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, business, professional, or compliance advice.

Any signing, editing, exporting, or document-processing features are provided for convenience only. You should consult a qualified professional if you need advice about whether a document, signature, submission, or workflow is legally valid or appropriate for your situation.

4. User Responsibility for Documents

You are responsible for reviewing all documents before using, sharing, submitting, printing, uploading, or relying on them.

Before submitting or relying on any document, you should confirm that:

  • The document content is correct
  • The formatting is acceptable
  • Pages are in the correct order
  • Signatures, annotations, images, and edits appear where intended
  • The exported file opens correctly
  • The receiving person, organization, court, agency, school, employer, or platform accepts the document format and signature method

We are not responsible for rejected documents, invalid submissions, formatting changes, incorrect edits, missing pages, lost files, missed deadlines, or any consequences resulting from your use of the App.

5. Signatures

PDF Pocket Tools may allow you to create, save, and reuse a hand-drawn signature.

When you place a signature using the App, the signature is applied as a digital image for convenience. A pasted, image-based, or hand-drawn signature may not qualify as a legally binding electronic signature in every jurisdiction, organization, document type, or workflow.

You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of a signature is legally valid and accepted for your intended purpose.

6. Saved Signatures

Saved signatures are stored locally on your device. We do not upload saved signatures to our own servers.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and app data. If your device is lost, stolen, infected, backed up insecurely, shared with others, or accessed without authorization, your saved signatures and documents may be exposed, copied, modified, or misused.

You should delete saved signatures when you no longer need them or if you believe your device or app data may no longer be secure.

7. Password-Protected and Restricted PDFs

The App may allow you to open or create unlocked copies of password-protected PDFs after you provide the correct password.

You must only unlock, copy, export, edit, or modify PDFs when you have the legal right and permission to do so. The App is not intended to help users bypass rights, contracts, laws, or restrictions that apply to documents they do not own or are not authorized to modify.

8. Local Files and Backups

PDF Pocket Tools is designed to process user-selected documents locally on your device. However, your device, operating system, file manager, cloud backup provider, sharing apps, or other third-party services may affect where files are stored, backed up, synced, or shared.

You are responsible for managing, backing up, deleting, securing, and verifying your own files.

We are not responsible for lost files, overwritten files, corrupted files, deleted files, failed exports, failed backups, or files shared unintentionally through your device or other apps.

9. Ads and Free App Support

PDF Pocket Tools may display advertisements. Ads help support the free version of the App.

Third-party advertising services may collect or process certain information as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

10. No Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or guarantees that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every document, suitable for every workflow, accepted by every organization, or legally valid for every use case.

PDF files can vary widely in structure, security settings, formatting, fonts, images, annotations, forms, and metadata. Some files may not process correctly or may appear differently after editing or export.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utilix Labs will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

This includes, but is not limited to, lost files, lost data, rejected documents, invalid signatures, invalid submissions, formatting problems, missed deadlines, business losses, legal consequences, privacy incidents caused by device compromise, or unauthorized access to your device or files.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

12. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App, change features, add or remove functionality, or modify these Terms from time to time.

When we update these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
